This is the most delicate and fragile piece I've ever made. It's not as fragile as it looks, but it does need to be handled with care, because the branches are so delicate and thin.
This, just like almost everything else I've made, will be available for sale, but whoever is interested in buying, must know that they have to treat it like a delicate flower. In my head, that has a bit of a charm. Maybe I won't sell any, but I'm happy with just keeping it for myself
Polymer clay, handmade from scratch. Silk lace.
Also, FelineArtisan will be my etsy account, launching sometime next week. I'm gonna be branding with this name from now on. Giving up on Froufrou, that was my nickname, for FelineArtisan, which unlike Froufrou, I've never seen before. What do you think about it?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I also always check the galleries of people who comment and fav.
OOOOO this piece is gorgeous! I LOVE it and I can see why you would say treat it with care. It is totally worth is though. I have never seen a piece quite like this one... and once again I'm seeing things so unique that it really makes you're work stand out. Everything you've been doing lately is just blowing my idea of pendants of jewelry out of the water lol and I can't wait to keep seeing more new and exciting pieces!
I'm so happy you like it! I've been dying to do a sakura tree, and after the enchanted forest pendant where I figured out how to do leaves and branches, it kinda stuck into my head. It is really fragile, but I feel that brings some sort of different value to the pendant. I hope I can continue surprising you I'm on a roll babeh!
This is a truely beautiful piece of jewelry. The delicacy of the entire thing is simply wonderful. I love how the trunk entwines together then comes appart for the branches and the roots. How you made this, I have no idea. But I hope you sell a million of them. (:
Thank you so much dear. It's really a lot easier to make than it seems.
